Why We Exist: Breaking Cycles
We are driven by our commitment to breaking cycles of poverty, disease, and disempowerment. Kinua Foundation is a Ugandan nonprofit working at the intersection of economic empowerment and public health. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals—SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)—we exist to transform lives through sustainable, community-led action.

Womens Economic Empowerment
We identify enterprising women and provide them with financial support (small business capital), technical training (business development, record-keeping, marketing), and mentorship.
Childrens Voices Against Malaria
We amplify the voices of young people as agents of change. We combine health education, storytelling, and grassroots mobilization to increase awareness, promote prevention, and influence policy change.
Promoting Food Security
We promote sustainable agricultural practices and support access to nutritious food to improve overall food security at the household level, ensuring families are healthy and resilient.
